Property damage caused by aging and faulty plumbing is one of the most common home insurance claims. Annually more than 2,500,000 homeowners fall victim and the damages total billions of dollars in preventable losses. Valuables such as artwork, antiques, computers and electronic data, photographs, and other heirlooms are often difficult or impossible to fully replace.
A WaterCop automatic water shut-off system will provide your home with round-the-clock indoor flood protection and works with wired and wireless flood sensors, wall switches, and most home security and home automation systems.
Now more than ever you need this home flood protection. Maintain a smarter home...install a WaterCop today!
The WaterCop automatic shutoff valve installs on the main water line near the existing manual shut-off valve. WaterCop flood sensors install near water using appliances and in rooms where running water is present. If leaking water contacts any of the sensors a wireless signal is immediately broadcast to the WaterCop main valve causing the valve to close. Water flow is quickly cutoff to all areas of the home and any continuous flooding is stopped.
This system has saved me from water damage 3 times so far. One instance was a small pinhole leak under my master bathroom sink. The sensor went off in the middle of the night. I took a quick look to see what the problem was, turned off the water supplies, went downstairs to turn the main water supply back on and went back to bed. Total loss = 6 rolls of toilet paper.
